People often ask me “What’s in Your Bag?” This isn’t the easiest question to answer because I am constantly adopting new gear, trying new things, and evolving my collection of creative tools.
So I decided to write this list of gear for my wedding, engagement, and other portrait photography equipment that I’ll continue to update every so often.

http://www.linandjirsa.com/our-photography-equipment/ lists the 5div already but not the Sigma Art primes. Does this here represent your actual gear list? Why not using the new 35/1.4ii over the Sigma, I sometimes get AF issues in dim receptions with Sigma lenses?

Hi SLR Lounge team, I really love all your workshops (the ones I have seen this far anyway) and thanks to Pye, I discovered the PhotoMechanic software. I went through the free trial and want to purchase, but the discount code doesn’t work for me. “SLRTEN”. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
I have had contact with Camerabits (developer of Photo Mechanic 5). Apparently, the code has expired some time ago.. So others will know this too…

Really enjoyed reading this post! I just tried to use the magmod code and it only gives $10.00 off not 10% off … not too sure if the error is in the text above or on the magmod site but just letting you guys know! Thanks again!

Where is the discount code for the canned aerosol? Thanks
Hi Bonnie: I’m not sure if there are any other codes out there, but we have a strong discount for our premium members here: https://www.slrlounge.com/partners-discounts-listing/
Thanks!

Pye, what do you like about the Phottix strobes that you wouldn’t get from Canon’s 580exii or the 600?

Last updated 8th Jan 2015? You sure you don’t mean 2016, Pye?
Anyway, great info otherwise, it’s nice to see how the kit has changed and evolved over the years, including some interesting selections, such as the Sigma 24, 35, 50, 85 combo over the Canon equivalents. Also nice to see the Canon 100mm f/2.8 over the L (IS) version.
Also surprised that there’s no ultrawide! Either way, I’m super impressed with your kit, Pye. You’ve somewhat convinced me to ease up on my GAS.
Thanks Paul, the team helped me put this up while I was teaching at Creative Live. I’ll have them jump in and make the corrections. Appreciate the look out =)

Thanks for sharing Pye. Any chance for a video on how you incorporate Photomechanic into your Lightroom workflow?
This will be covered in the Creative Live Engagement Photography Class as well as the new Lightroom Workshop Collection coming out later this year.

Thank you Pye for sharing this with us. A lot of the links lead to the main article not the store where we can see or buy them. Thanks!
Thanks for letting us know. I’ve gone ahead and fixed them
So good to see the Sigma Arts there in a full time pro’s bag. Are you reading this Nikon?
