As small business owners, we all understand (and most of us practice) the art of multi-tasking. We’ve all eaten a meal from a bag while driving from appointment to appointment; I’m sure many of you have checked Facebook on your phone while on a conference call and edit last weekend’s wedding all at the same time. And if you’re a parent, then juggling all these tasks with kiddos running around demanding attention is a day to day reality.
Los Angeles based photographer, Christine McConnell takes multi-tasking to a new level and shows it in her new series of self portraits. Not only is she behind the camera, she’s also in front of it (It helps when you have enviously high cheekbones, piercing blue eyes and dark, luxurious hair. I’m not jealous). But that’s not all, she also styled each scene, created the sets, sewed the outfits, did the hair and make-up, painted the room and the furniture. Oh and she baked a cake.
That may not seem like much to you, but I was pretty tired afterward.
I’m tired thinking about it (and feeling a tad inadequate).
Christine does this for most of her shoots, the styling, the costume making, the set design and her images have appeared in many publications and billboards. In her ‘free time,’ she also is a celebrity stylist at a salon in Beverly Hills.

Don’t mind me, I’m off to bake some cookies…(just kidding, I don’t know how to bake). Go see more of Christine’s work on her website, Instragram, and Flickr.
