17Hats has been available as a business management tool for small business owners for a few years now, making life easier for freelancers of all types. Until last month, however, the only way to get the multitude of benefits 17Hats offers was to pay a subscription fee. Now though, they have introduced a free, albeit limited tier of service.
If you aren’t familiar with 17Hats, it’s an online business management system for entrepreneurs that rolls many individual services into one. A few features offered are scheduling, billing and invoicing, organizing clients and projects, managing to-do lists, and keeping track of business leads. All your information is stored in the cloud and can also be accessed via mobile app.
The free tier, called “Basic,” is limited to three active projects and lacks some of the features of their paid Lite or Unlimited accounts ($17/month and $39/month respectively), but is perfectly usable for someone just starting out or only doing a little bit of business. Even if you aren’t doing any business at all, it can be a helpful planning tool just to help you stay on track with your goals.
