Unlike previous versions of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Lightroom 3 now comes with built in tethered importing for Canon, Nikon and Leica camera systems.
Keep in mind that tethered importing doesn’t work with all camera brands, nor does it work with all Canon, Nikon and Leica camera models as well.
As of May 11, 2011 the following cameras are supported:
EOS 5D Mark II
EOS 1D Mark II
EOS 1Ds Mark II
EOS 1D Mark III
EOS 1Ds Mark III
EOS 1D Mark IV
