How to Record a Screen Capture Tutorial Using Camtasia Studio 7 or Camtasia Studio 8 – SLR Lounge Staff Series Part 1

Pye Jirsa

Overview

While preparing our training series for SLR Lounge authors, we realized that many of you have asked about what type of software we use for screen capture, as well as how we record and edit our screen captures. So, we thought we would make this screen capture tutorial available to everyone.

In this Camtasia and Lightroom 4 Tutorial, we are going to walk through an entire recording of a Lightroom 4 tutorial. That means, this is a two for one deal! You get to learn how to use Camtasia to record screen captures, as well as how to create a nice negative space black and white faded image. Negative space is a compositional tool that I love to play around with.

Hope you all enjoy!

Before and After Images

While teaching you all how to record screen capture tutorials, we also walk through a full edit. Woot!
