Description:Optical Zoom refers to a lens that can vary its focal length (its angle of view) by physically moving the various optical elements in the lens. This is in contrast to Digital Zoom, which does not physically move the optics in a lens, but instead achieves the zooming effect by simply cropping the digital image.
