Photographing newborns can seem intimidating at first because it requires photographers to learn a different skill set. Newborn safety and comfort, crafting creative sets, and understanding the best time frames for shooting are just a few of the things you’ll need to consider beyond the “typical” photographer considerations of camera gear, lighting techniques, camera settings, etc.
Furthermore, after the shoot, post production for newborns is slightly different than portraiture, landscapes, and other types of photography. So where do you begin?
