Jolt: The Wireless Charging Solution For Your GoPro

Paul Faecks

Charging the GoPro can be a real pain and while the PowerPole might be the solution for charging the battery while the camera is in use, it is certainly not the solution for regular charging on a wall outlet. That’s what the Jolt wireless charger is meant to do – it is capable of charging up to three cameras wirelessly. Using the separately sold car adapter, you can also charge your action cam while on the road.

The Kickstarter campaign for the Jolt is not funded yet, so if you think this is a great idea and you want to pick one up for yourself you can do so for $59.

The jolt comes with 2 batteries out of the box that replace the original go pro ones. It can charge the go pro in its case or just the naked battery out of the GoPro.

I think the jolt looks quite promising, doesn’t it? We’ll have to see how fast it actually charges your tiny little camera and how reliable it is. If it fulfills what the founders claim however, it could simplify your GoPro charging workflow drastically.

What do you think? One of those nice ideas that never work out or the future of charging devices?
