Introduction to Photographing the Groom
The second portion of our Wedding Workshop series, Photographing the Groom, will teach second shooters how to create flattering portraits and artistic journalistic images during Groom Prep. In Chapter One we will be covering what gear is recommended for second shooting as well as the transitional equipment needed to move up to a lead shooter position.
This comprehensive course will be covering everything you need to know about how to create incredible wedding day imagery from:
- Posing the Groom and Groomsmen
- Learning how to light scenes with highly portable lights and setups
- Post producing for an amazing end product

I would love to see this videos, unfortunately they are not Deaf friendly with Closed Captioning.
Can you guys make this happen?
Do you guys have a timeline when you hope to release this? I’ve got A LOT of weddings this summer and this education looks great!
Hi Kyle,
We are set to release one chapter every two weeks. Keep an eye out for the next one!
Thanks! Pye is awesome. His workshops have completely transformed my photography and inspired me beyond measure.
The groom images are fantastic. I don’t get too many opportunities to photograph the groom before the ceremony, but this workshop looks excellent.
Thank you for your support, Paul, it means so much!
There are often times when a timeline allows for the lead shooter to photograph the groom, hope that happens for you soon because after watching this I am sure you will want it to!
