Wyoming Wildscapes II, A 14 Month Time-lapse Journey

Wyoming is a beautiful state full of wilderness and natural wonders that are a landscape photographers dream. Photographer Nicolaus Wegner recently completed a 14 month long project shooting this beautiful time-lapse project called Wyoming Wildscapes II.

The project, according to Wegner, was fraught with difficulties:

Lightning almost got me a couple of times this summer, gear froze up in the winter (literally), and broke a few times (don’t think most of the time lapse gear was meant for extended wilderness backpacking), all that fun stuff.


The way that the music and motion in the video worked together was a real treat. I must say that this is one of the most well done time-lapse projects that I have seen. From the quality of the footage to the locations and audio this really has it all. Such a beautiful project.
