Using Reflectors to Refine Light
One of the most affordable pieces of gear in a photographer’s bag can produce dramatic results when used properly. Learn to use your reflector for quick and effective light modification and refine the light in nearly any outdoor setting:
- Match ambient light direction
- White = Less light/more diffused
- Silver = More light/more specular
- Adjust position
- Watch shadows/catch lights
