When shooting in harsh sunlight it can be hard to avoid having strong highlights and shadows cast on your couple. Positioning them to shield one another from the sun doesn’t always work and this is when you need to pull out one of your most useful tools in a situation like this: flash power! Even with the addition of a full power flash/strobe the ambient exposure is still too bright. Balance the two by placing an ND filter on your camera lens to cut down the light even further which allows you to maintain a wide aperture.
