Mood Board’s Place
Let it be known that the mood board is still helpful and it definitely has a place in the process, which is after the vision exercise. Here is how a mood board can help us understand our client’s vision:
- See what resonates
- Determine the look/style
- Understand key emotions/moments
- Get ideas and inspiration
When reviewing a mood board with a client, ask specific questions related to the images in the mood board. For example, if they’ve selected a number of bright and airy images, ask the clients if that is what they like about the images and if they’d prefer that style of lighting for their shoot.
