Christina, I am also having speed issues. I have only just come back to photography and light lightroom use and the one thing I note from previous versions is that LR Classic is really really slow with loading anything. Click on an image and it takes forever and hangs all the time. I have read all the advice on how to speed things up, increase cache size, enable smart previews, turn on/off GPU etc. Nothing seems to work. Now I have my sisters wedding to edit and it is extremely painful.
Hi Christina, I’m running a much older Mac and found that not enabling the use of the Graphics Card (GPU) made the biggest difference. I also find that my Wacom tablet appears to slow LR down so I use the mouse for LR and the Pen in PS. Sorry if that’s a repeat of advice you have already received / tried, but it worked for me. Best Wishes,
Hello,
I have a general question to anyone who may be able to help. Ive been a premium member with SLR since December and am LOVING everything about this platform. I am following along on all of the Lightroom training video’s, but my Lightroom is running super slow. I just purchased the new Mac so I know its not my machine, I also increased my cache size to 70GB hoping that would help, but it didn’t. I have read and tried many things and nothing seems to make that much of a difference. While I am editing, almost every edit I make using the adjustment brush, I get the little spinning wheel and it becomes very frustrating when one edit takes 10 mins..Does anyone else have this issue? Or is there another place you could recommend that I post this question? Thank you !!
Hey Christina,
Have you tried building Smart Previews? This usually cuts down on load time per image for me.

This gives you a basic rundown but let us know if that helps! And if you have more questions like this, join us in the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1171230566250319/
Just purchased the Premium and Wow, Mind Blown! So much content, so little time. Was able to easily find the presets along with the other documents and in process of downloading…and watching video. My router is working overtime! Thanks so much for creating this website for folks like me.
I have downloaded the SLR lounge but it doesn’t show up on my lightroom any number I can call for support?
Please email us and we can help right away
I have to say as a new member to SLR Lounge I am very underwhelmed finding any useful help trying to navigate the site or any help downloading the presets to Lightroom leaves a lot to be desired. I spent 4 hours look for any helpful resources and I don’t know if I even have the corrects preset bundle. Where do you go? Who do you ask if you have questions. I KNOW the presets are in My Purchases. Why is there no video to help you navigate what to do from there. I am not of below average intelligence and I spent the last 4 hours trying to find a resource on site to help. So far all Ive got is 4 people named Emily that are thankful for my question & are going to get back to me. I purchased this membership to make my life easier and so far I am an entire night of editing behind. I can’t be the only one having difficulty. Since Ive been dealing with these presets I havn’t even had a chance to check out any of the videos but I have to say not off to a good start.

How do I download the presets after I purchase the SLR Lounge Premium Membership?
Did you get to download the presets?

You can click on account settings in the top right corner when you hover the cursor over your name. From there you click on My Purchases about the middle left side of your screen. You should find all of your downloads and presets there. Hope this helps.
They are in account settings, my purchases. You should be able to DL all available content
