Introduction to Shooting Dramatic Groom & Groomsmen Portraits
What do you do when you are shooting indoors in scenes that are moody and dramatic and you want to save the environmental light in that scene. We are going to be teaching you how to use grids & snoots to pinpoint your light, showing you the difference when utilizing an umbrella to get soft diffused light over the entire group.
We are going to walk through an entire series of groomsmen portraits both in the hotel room and around the hotel property, capitalizing on how important it is to location scout and find inspiration beyond the given means. Just because your groom is stationed in a hotel room doesn’t mean that you are forced to work within that constraint. Here is your chance to think outside the box and use your camera and lighting tools to create imagery beyond with your imagination.
