Hotel Room High-Key Portraits
Here are a few key tips to remember before shooting high-key portraits in a hotel room (or similar location):
- Close the sheers to soften the light and allow light to wrap around the subjects
- Use a silver reflector for directional light (if needed)
- White balance for the skin tones in camera
- White balance for green tint from windows (if needed)
- Expose to retain shadows
- Shoot with wide apertures (1.2 to 2.8 preferred)
