Wedding Workshop Five | Photographing the Ceremony: Foreground Elements
There are several types of foreground elements that you can incorporate into your images to help you frame your subject, add interest to the image, create layers to add depth, or conceal unwanted elements in the frame. The trick to using these elements well is to move around the shoot location so that you can find them!
Here are some tips for using basic foreground elements:
- Before the Day
- Practice using foreground elements (plants, lights, etc.).
- During the Shoot
- During key moments, shoot 2nd position. Second shooter takes lead on 24-70/70-200mm
- Find plants or use floral decor in aisle
