Culling in Lightroom Pt. 1
Culling is going to vary for everyone across the board, but we are going to teach you how we do it in our studio. We want to make sure that we aren’t over-delivering on images. Every single additional image that we are adding fits the criteria of:
- It’s better than the last image
- It adds something to the story
- It adds overall value
If we are delivering images that have slight differences between each other then we end up handing the culling process over to the client, which is what we want to avoid. The goal is the have the client flip from image to image being more impressed by the next.
Always make sure you are culling from the library module and use the Keywording system we created in our last video to filter through each keyword and work section by section from there.
