Creating A Panorama Of The Milky Way
Here are three simple steps for creating a panoramic image:
- Overlap: When moving the camera to capture the multiple images used in your panorama, be sure to overlap each image by as much as 50% and no less than 30%
- Alignment and Spacing: Give yourself plenty of room on all edges. Much of the image will be trimmed down once they’re stitched together, so you’ll need to leave room on the edges to keep your core image intact.
- Expediency: Work quickly; the earth is rotating.
