Being A Technical Artist vs. Being a Human Artist
What is the one thing you can remember when you were photographed? The way we feel when we are being photographed overrides the actual quality of the image. It is our job as photographer to make our clients feel catered to, taken care of, and their best in the actual moment.
“They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” – Carl W. Beuhner
Being a technical artist is definitely necessary to succeed in the competitive world of photography, but we argue that being a human artist is just as important, if not more necessary, to differentiate yourself from the pack. Being able to relate to human beings and communicate your thoughts in an authoritative yet kind manner will get you much further than knowing how to take a technically sound photograph.
