Create two exposures of the Milky Way (or just the night sky if the Milky Way is not visible during the hours you’re available to shoot). The first image should be exposed to cleanly capture the night sky while the second exposure will likely be brighter to cleanly capture the ground (see the image above). If you are able, blend these exposures in Photoshop to create the finished product (instructions on how to do this can be found in chapter eight). Submit your assignment to our Premium Members Group on Facebook.
