Wacom Introduces New Interactive Pen Display with Pro Pen under $1000 | Cintiq 13HD

By Jules Ebe on March 21st 2013

Wacom has slated its newest addition to the current graphics and design arsenal with the Cintiq 13HD. The 13-inch HD pen display package will also feature a redesigned Pro Pen. Much like its larger siblings, Cintiq 22HD, Cintiq 24HD, and Cintiq 24HD Touch, the Cintiq 13HD offers customizable keys to tailor to your own workflow. With efficiency and control as the reigning king when choosing gear, it is no wonder that the new pen display with promises of an improved Pro Pen is turning a few heads.

Details are still modest concerning all the improvements for the Pro Pen, but the company did release that it will feature 2,048 levels of sensitivity, tilt recognition, and a new ergonomic design.

The new Cintiq 13HD will start shipping in early April for $999.95 (USD), $1,000 less than its larger predecessor, the Cintiq 22HD.

You can visit Wacom’s official site for the original press release and details.

A bit too pricey for me. Sticking to the Bamboo that I still can’t get used to.
