Urban Photography: A San Diego Timelapse Journey

By Jules Ebe on April 18th 2013

With the inundation of all the images on the news of violence and war this past week, I’ve decided to highlight a piece of beauty: home. Today’s timelapse video is not created with a whole bunch of landscapes and scenes of the Milkyway. It is a celebration of the urban vistas found here in San Diego, California. It goes beyond a look at the city from a tourist’s viewpoint, and allows us a glimpse into the hidden treasures of my own hometown.

“Ever since I was a kid, I have always been mesmerized by extraordinary beauty of my hometown, San Diego. The city has many hidden treasures that have always captivated me, and they continue to do so.” ~ Michael Shainblum

Welcome Home Timelapse

It is a view into the beauty of the everyday. The busy city streets, the dancing waves along the bay, and the structures that make up our cityscape. Many times you don’t have to look much further than your own backyard for the inspiration to create.

Until Next Time . . .

Stay Inspired ~ Jules
