The Fisherman Project by Bryan Alano

By Emily Cariaga on July 10th 2013

Bryan Alano is a commercial lifestyle photographer based in Los Angeles, CA. He recently took a trip to the Philippines and came back with some great images of the local fisherman.

“It was a very humbling experience getting to know these guys because each of them have a personal story. The majority of them are on the lowest poverty line where they only make an average of $6-10 a day to feed their family and raise their kids. But in spite of the struggle, you still see how happy and content they are.”

Here are a few of our favorites from Bryan’s “Fisherman Project.” Check out the rest here!
