Welcome to our Deal Dash segment, where we scour the web for the best deals on camera, lenses, lighting, and other gear for photographers. There are always great deals to be found over on B&H, and Amazon, so make sure to check out those two websites. Today, we wanted to highlight 3 deals below:

Tamron 24-70mm F/2.8 VC – Save $200

Tamron-A007_24-70mmF2-8DiVCUSD

Until recently, Tamron’s 24-70mm F/2.8 was the only 24-70mm F/2.8 on the market with image stabilization technology. That recently changed with the announcement of Nikon’s image stabilized 24-70mm, but that does not make the Tamron offering any less appealing.

This lens still offers its users a great bang for the buck. Right now, there is also a great rebate available on the lens, saving you $200. The rebate ends on October 31st though, so you still have some time to think about it – but don’t wait too long.

Olympus OM-D E-M1 – $Save 300

slr-lounge-olympus-om-d e-m1

The Olympus OM-D E-M1 is one of the finer Micro 4/3rd camera offerings out there right now, and it is constantly being updated by Olympus. There are rumors that a new model may be coming down the pipe in the next year or so but doesn’t make the E-M1 any less capable of a camera.

Right now, you can get a cool $300 savings on this body as well. If interested, you can find this deal over on B&H here.

6TB Toshiba External HDD – Save $30

toshiba-canvio

For once, it’s not a Western Digital external drive deal, but today I wanted to highlight yet another external drive for your backup needs. This time we have a 6TB, yes six terabyte, Toshiba Canvio desktop drive that is PERFECT for backing up or archiving old images.

The real kicker here (after a cool $30 in savings), you can nab this guy for under $190, giving you an incredible amount of storage for a relatively small wad of cash. If you are interested, you can grab this deal over on B&H here.

This is our daily deals report where we will feature a deal, or deals, that we think you should know about. Feel free to let us know about any deals you run across by sending me an email (link in my profile) or leaving a comment below!
