Tamron Announces Development Of ‘Advanced’ New 28-300mm Lens
Today Tamron announced the development of a new advanced wide angle to telephoto lens compatible with full frame sensors. This new 28-300mm will have a variable aperture of 3.5-6.3 and features a new Piezo Drive (PZD) AF motor developed by Tamron.
Sigma 35mm DG HSM Lens Review – Still Amazing A Year Later
At Photokina 2012, Sigma announced three new lenses in a reorganization of it’s lens lineup. Since then, we’ve witnessed them establish a new confidence and respect in their brand as a top grade third party lens manufacturer. The first new lens that they released was the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens, and it didn’t take long for the early reviews and message board chatter to start raising eye brows.
Lomography Reinventing The Revolutionary Petzval Lens
Lomography is reinventing the legendary 19th Century Petzval lens to be used with all Nikon F and Canon EF Mount Analog and Digital SLR cameras. Funding their project through Kickstarter, they are looking to resurrect the lens for 21st century photographers and videographers.
