Soft-muted pastel tones intertwined with surrealist imagery cover the photos of 26 year-old Ukraine-based photographer, Oleg Oprisco. The stunning captures feature beautiful girls amidst dramatic landscapes, all taken with his old Kiev film cameras.
Oleg is drawn to film photography because he says it makes him “appreciate every single frame and it makes seeing the final result all the more magical.” His photographs are certainly magical, they almost seem to posses a dream-like charm.
As a fine art photographer, he is constantly looking for inspiration from everyday life, perpetually observing the world around him. Tweaks to his reality set in when he adds light, props, characters, and chooses a location for his shoot.
Oleg’s gear consists of a Kiev 6C and Kiev 88 cameras, with 90mm f/2.8, 180mm f/2.8, and 300mm f/4.0 lenses by Meyer Optik Orestegor.
