Stream to the Web Directly from your DSLR with this new device

By Anthony Thurston on June 18th 2013

Looking to broadcast live to the web? Now you can do this straight from your camera with this nifty device from Teradek called VidiU that attaches straight to your DSLR and streams to popular streaming services over Wifi.

The product was recently featured on B&H’s youtube page and has received good reviews from other sources as well. I personally don’t have the need for such a device, but I can think of many reasons for those of you who do video.

The biggest “gotcha” for this device is the pricetag, at $699 it’s a little expensive for most people. If you need streaming capabilities and don’t want to be wired into a computer all the time then this is a great option for you, and is definitely worth the money. You can check out the B&H product review below and purchase from B&H here.
