Canon L glass is considered by many to be some of the highest quality glass available. For a Canon shooter, it is usually the best option available to you for a given focal length and image quality. Now, thanks to some new rebates from Canon running this month, you can get your hands on some of this L glass for up to $200 off.
Canon L Glass Rebates
In total there are 20 different lenses available with these rebates, which are good through the 26th of March. If you recently watched our Canon Lens Wars Series, then you have no doubt seen most, if not all, of these lenses in action. I have highlighted a few of the best deals below, but if you want to find the whole listing you can head over to B&H.
- Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM – $200 MIR (mail in rebate)
- Canon 70-200mm F/2.8L IS II USM – $200 MIR
- Canon 135mm F/2L USM – $100 MIR
- Canon 50mm f/1.2L USM – $150 MIR
- Canon 85mm f/1.2L II USM – $150 MIR
Mail in rebates are probably my least favorite way to get a deal on a lens, considering it means you have to spend the full cost of the lens first, but if you are in the market for one of these L series lenses, then any deal is better than full price if you ask me.
One last quick link, if you want to see the full listing of Canon L Series glass that is available under this new rebate promotion you can head on over to B&H to get the scoop.

Hi, I bought a Canon EF 50mm f/1.2 lens a few days ago from a reputable retail store in Brisbane, Australia and paid full retail price. Can I still claim the rebate, or is this only valid in the US?
Cheers! Dennis Vogelsang.
It is probably a US only rebate, but I don’t know that for sure. Check with your local Canon rep.
