Rejoice (or Despair) Adobe Creative Cloud is Live!

By Anthony Thurston on June 17th 2013

It’s been a few weeks since Adobe announced their sweeping changes to their product lineup and their new direction with Adobe Creative Cloud. Earlier today they announced that Adobe Creative Cloud is now live, and current subscribers of CC should be seeing CC versions of their favorite software begin to show up in Adobe’s Download Manager tonight.

This is great news for anyone who is excited about Creative Cloud, but will likely be met with resistance from the vocal customers who are still against CC. If you do take this chance to get in on Creative Cloud no doubt one of the biggest features you will notice in Photoshop CC is the new Shake Reduction Filter, which allows you to remove some blur from shooting at a shutter speed that is too slow.

Other notable features include the Adobe Camera Raw Filter (which allows you to use ACR inside of Photoshop itself), Smart Sharpen, Smart Object Liquify, and Dynamic Rounded Corners for Shapes. You can learn more about Photoshop CC on the Adobe Product page.

**You may not not have the latest CC upgrades show up in your Download Manager right away, but they should show up within the next 24 hours or so.
