Back in May, we told you about the RagLite, an interesting lightweight and portable lighting solution that looked very promising. Unfortunately for the Raglite team, they were unable to secure their $25,000 goal in crowdfunding support, falling short by about $6,000.
Well, after many months of re-evaluating their product, and going back to the drawing board so to speak, Raglite is back and again wants your support. This time though, the company has chosen IndieGoGo, and will be allowed to keep any money earned through the campaign, no matter if they hit their goal of $25,000 or not.
The new and improved RagLite comes in 6 different models, ranging in size and light output. Currently, there are still a few perks left for the ‘Fusion’ RagLite, which is IP68 Waterproof, and comes with everything needed for $109.
The RagLite campaign is at $16,000 of their $25,000 goal, with today and tomorrow remaining in the campaign. But as I mentioned above, unlike with the Kickstarter campaign, even if they don’t hit their goal, they will still be able to keep the money and move forward with their product (albeit at a smaller scale).
If you are interested in getting in on these RagLite perks, the Fusion deal I mentioned above, for example, is 25% off what these will sell for MSRP. You can head on over to the RagLite IndieGoGo campaign to learn more and show your support.

It’s nice to know they get to keep the money even though they failed to meet their goal but does this mean the investors get their product?
I really enjoy reading about these new designs and concepts in aiding photography.
I pay attention to the news here on SLR Longe almost religiously. I am surprised with no words on Breakthrough Photography Kickstarter campaign. I think it’s a great idea and is worthy of SLR Longe attention.
Thanks for all you guys do.
