James Hale
I started in photography at 18 years of age making portraits of children in K-Marts around the Midwest area. Got tired of that and worked for Olan Mills for awhile and then became a school photographer. I joined the Navy, spent 4 years serving our country and then when I was honorably discharged became a wedding photographer and darkroom assistant for Enzor studios working with Charlie Reese.
Somehow I got sucked in to the IT world and have spent the next 30+ years working on computers simply because I saw digital photography coming up and wanted to take part in both sides.
I'm back to photography now because it makes me happy and I love working with people. You can read my complete story on my website at https://jameshalephotography.com/about.html.
