Please Take a Photo

By Anthony Thurston on March 17th 2013

While browsing YouTube I came across this very creative video by YouTuber MrElliotB. The video – titled Take A Photo – documents a few kids leaving disposable cameras in what looks to be pizza boxes with the prompt “Take a Photo” in random places around their town and the people who stopped to take a picture.

The video is 2:46 seconds and documents several locations and many different people per location. I can’t help but be a little inspired by this video. The pictures are pretty terrible quality, but not much you can do about that with disposable cameras. It’s really too bad that people aren’t trust worth enough to leave a DSLR lying around. Just think of the amazing stuff you could likely get out of that.

The ending statement, “Everyone has a different perspective” is just perfect and really sums up the feeling of the video. If you have a spare 3 minutes I recommend that you check it out, ill even make it easier for you and embed it below.

All the young/teen girls took pictures of themselves. I laughed.

Not convinced that everyone has a different perspective…the better challenge would be to ask different people to photograph the same thing, like an apple or something.

My itunes was playing “Asleep” by Emily Browning [Sucker Punch movie], and it synced perfectly to the video. I guess that just my “Perspective”. Great write up…
