Pet Portrait Sessions: Pawtography

By Joseph Cha on November 12th 2013

They say that pets are like their owners, and you’ll see just how true that is in this series of photos. Photographer Zach Rose has a series on his instagram of clever portrait mash-ups of pets and their owners. It’s really interesting, because you can imagine what the owner looks like from the dog, even though you can’t see the owner at all!

Rose takes a photo on his Canon 5D Mark III of the pet, then holds it in the foreground in front of the owners head and snaps another photo with his phone.┬áThe resulting photos are hilarious. The idea is so simple yet ingenious and it’s hard to wonder “why didn’t I think of this before?”
