No longer a novelty, timelapse videos are a dime a dozen these days and so they have to be pretty spectacular to catch my attention. The following timelapse is one of those. Breathtakingly beautiful, this timelapse makes me want to see this in 4k, or better yet, spend a few thousand dollars to fly around the world and take in the beauty of Norway with my own eyes.

Norway, A Time-Lapse Adventure was a journey 5 months in the making, the fruits of a 15,ooo km (approximately 10,000 miles) road trip and tens of thousands of images taken during summer and winter. Created by Rustad Media, the 5 minute video covers all of Norways 19 counties, and the most scenic places, according to the video description, including Lofoten, Senja, Helgelandskysten, Geirangerfjorden, Nærøyfjorden and Preikestolen.

If you have the ability, watch this in 4k with surround sound to immerse yourself in this stunning array of nature. It’ll be the second best thing to being there…almost as good as looking up to see to Northern Lights in person. Almost.

If you can’t get enough of this adventure, head over to the Rustad Media website where you can get a behind the scenes look at their 5 month trip, along with their thoughts, behind the scenes photos and a map detailing where they went.
