If the rumors are to be believed, then there will be some great Fujifilm news coming within the next 24 hours or so. And also, later on this year there will be some really amazing news in the form of a cheaper version of the X-T1.

According to several new reports over on Fuji Rumors, Fuji plans on announcing two new cameras tonight. The first will be a fixed lens camera called the XQ2. There’s not a lot of information about this one yet other than that it has the fixed lens (a’la X100).

The second body rumored to be announced very soon is the long rumored replacement for the dud that was the Fuji X-A1; the X-A2. I don’t have any specs for the X-A2, but if I know anything about Fuji, they really listened to feedback regarding the X-A1 and have likely made a ton of changes in the X-A2 to really improve that series. I am excited to see what they come up with.

In addition to the two new cameras, Fuji will refresh their 16-50mm and 55-200mm lenses with new OIS II lenses, which I am sure will probably be better optically as well. Some great stuff for Fuji shooters, or anyone interested in what Fuji is doing.

If the rumor holds, these should be officially announced here in the US sometime around 12am EST. Stay tuned and we will bring you all that information when it becomes available – if the announcement are, in fact, made today.
