Monday Deal Report: Savings on Nikon & Canon Lenses, A6000 In Stock
It’s Monday, and I haven’t done a deal report in a while. So here’s a quick deal report on some of the newer deals that I have been made aware of. Seems like a nice way to kick off the week, with a couple of nice savings on some popular lenses from Canon and Nikon.
Before I get into the deals though, I do have some information for those of you waiting to get your hands on the new Sony A6000. My sources tell me that B&H now has the A6000 kit with the 16-50mm lens (in silver) in a limited stock. So if you have been waiting for that camera to hit the shelves, jump on this now before the limited stock is gone. You can find the A6000 kit with the 16-50mm lens here for $798.
Now onto the actual deals. First up is this deal on the Canon 40mm f/2.8 pancake lens. This is a great little lens that utilizes the new(ish) STM for fast and silent focusing. This lens pairs up great on smaller bodies like the Canon 70D. Usually it runs for about $200, but B&H has a deal right now for $50 instant savings making your total just $149 for this great little lens.
I would be remiss if I left you Nikon shooters out! This is a great deal on refurbished Nikon 24-85mm F/3.5-4.5 lenses. These are nice little all-in-one lenses for your everyday shooting, which normally sell for around $600 new. But thanks to being refurbished and an additional discount of $89.95 on top of that, you can get your hands on this for only $299. Quite a steal if you are on the lookout for a quality lens for casual shooting. You can get this deal over on B&H here.
That is it for today’s deal report. If I missed any deals that you are aware of (that I haven’t shared before), please leave a comment below and help me spread the word!
