In this week’s instalment of “Tuesdays with Lauri” we will be concentrating on light. We will go through three lighting setups, that are THE MOST ESSENTIAL lighting setups, you’ll ever need: Rembrandt, Butterfly and Split. If you have any questions or requests for future episodes, please leave a comment down below and I’ll do my best to help you out. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting this
So simple explained and perfectly explained. Congrats!!
I’ve always known how to achieve these lighting effects, but giving them names is very helpful and useful. It allows me to illustrate to my clients the 3 basic lighting effects giving them an idea of what look they may want for their portraits. I typically use a 3 light set-up but sometimes 1 light can give you very dramatic results. Thank you for sharing.
Can you give info on the specifics of the lighting/soft box you used here? Thanks!
Good quick little lighting setup explanation, good stuff.
What happened to loop lighting?
