Well, something you’d probably never see grace the pages of GQ, Vogue, or Vanity Fair is photo apparel, namely the homely, but functional photo-jackets and vests. They are usually a cross between an army flak-jacket and a fishing vest. Manfrotto has been trying to change that with their Lino line, which are somewhat stylish, albeit expensive. But hey, what other options do you really have when it comes to photo-apparel that you can wear without your camera around your neck. I guess it’s kinda like funky golf pants that you can somehow still wear outside the country club.
So the news is that now they have expanded their line to include apparel cut specifically for women.
Here is what you can expect from Manfrotto’s new Lino collection:
PRO FIELD JACKET – $349.00
PRO PHOTO VEST – $229.00
PRO SOFT SHELL JACKET – $169.00
PRO AIR JACKET – $159.00
PRO PONCHO – $149.99
Thanks to The Phoblographer for the heads up.
So what do you think ladies? Are these fashionable enough?
