Man Creates Funny GoPro Parody With Boring Office Job

By Hanssie on April 21st 2015

GoPro videos are usually awesome and action packed. After all, the GoPro brand is one for the extremists – the daredevil sporty types that do rugged activities which leaves viewers breathless. We’ve seen the GoPro in action on skydivers,  base jumpers, on extreme mountain bikers, with Hello Kitty and an Angry Bird in space, and even on Superman. Never before, though, have we’ve seen the GoPro in action quite like this.

For those who sit in a cubicle for a living with faces staring at a screen most of the day, well, life is just not quite as exciting. While I’m not surrounded by cubicle walls, most days, I’m sitting in my living room/office staring at my laptop. If someone strapped a GoPro on me, I’m afraid they may die of boredom. In the following video, Youtuber Braziliandanny  wore his GoPro to work one day to document all the exhilarating envelope stuffing, stapling and emailing that happens in his day-to-day job.

Sound boring? Not if you edit it properly. Braziliandanny decided to use the footage to make a GoPro commercial parody, making his job look and sound like the coolest and most thrilling occupation ever. From pen clicking to faxing to doodling and envelope stuffing, the next minute and a half might be the most exciting thing you’ve seen today. Well, not really, but it’s still funny.

Talk about an original and creative idea, making the best out of a not-so-awesome looking job. So, whether you’re jumping out of an airplane or stuck in an office today, I hope you get a chance to do something fun and creative!
