The Making of: A New Milky Pinup Calendar With Models Wearing More Milk

By Hanssie on May 28th 2014

Last year, one of our most popular articles featured the work of  Jaroslav Wieczorkiewicz, who created a 2014 calendar of traditional 40’s pinup portraits with models wearing splashes of high speed milk.

Now, a new year and of course, a new calendar to look forward to. This time Jaroslav promises to go above and beyond. He will be experimenting with color, shapes and lighting using more milk on models. Titled, Splash Heroes, Jaroslav gives us a few teasers, which look incredible, as expected.

Inspired by his Milky Bamboo Forest Fight shoot, this calendar promises to be even more incredible than last year’s pinups! He was recently interviewed for a German television show, The Galileo Show, and here you can take a behind the scenes peek at how some of his imagery is done. From the splashes to the Photoshop layering, those that aren’t able to go to his workshops can get a look at the artist in action.

Watch the Galileo Show segment below. It’s in German with subtitles, though Jaroslav speaks English in the background:

Pour milk over models and it’s beautiful, but when I do it I get kicked out of Walmart.

Seriously though, great article. Looks amazing.
