
Panasonic officially announced the pricing of their new Leica DG Summilux 15mm f/1.7 lens. The lens was officially announced back in October of last year, but the pricing was only just announced today.
According to the announcement, the new lens will be sold for $599 and will be available in black or silver, and should start shipping in June.

I own it and using it on my OM-D em1, the build is all metal even the included hood sounds like a wine glass. Price is very justifiable the hood alone would be 90 bucks elsewhere. I.Q. Very sharp, great range, oil painting smooth bokeh. I’m a zuikoholic that is the non-olympus lens I own, I’ve returned every sigma I’ve purchased. I has the “it” that dxo can’t measure. Apeture ring currently does not work on Oly bodies, not a deal breaker
