Do you ever wish you could be part of the fun and not the one ALWAYS manning the camera? (I know what most of you are thinking, because if you’re like me, you became a photographer to AVOID having people take photos of you). But honestly, sometimes I really do want to put the camera down at a wedding, and dance the “Cupid Shuffle” with everyone else – and yes, sometimes I do.
That is the concept behind, Quebee, the tiny personal video camera that allows you to “make sure you’re in your moments”. The Quebee is a cube that is a full HD camera with a wide angle lens, boasts a high quality microphone, a tripod mount, 5 hours of video recording, up to 48 hours for timelapse recording, and it’s water resistant. Using your smartphone, you can also sync multiple Quebees and when you are close enough to your wifi network, Quebee can automatically upload to the cloud and has editing features so you can add soundtracks and video effects. It’s like “your own personal cameraman,” according to it’s kickstarter campaign.
With a goal of $100,000, co-founders Ben Bodley, Oliver McDermott and Ben Thomsen, have already raised almost $60,000 and have 6 days to go in the campaign.
