Inspiration: Lisa Tomasetti’s Ballet Dancers Take Over the City

By Jules Ebe on March 20th 2013

Film Still Photographer Lisa Tomasetti has elevated her focus in the recent series Dance. Through the camera lens, she explores major cities such as Paris, New York, and Tokyo with a dancer’s grace. The scenes are set up with a cinematic flare while remaining true to the feeling of street photography. Everyday streets become the stage for an elegant look at the form and agility of these poised ballerinas.

When she is not traveling the world as the official photographer for Australia’s Ballet, she works on film projects such as Star Wars Episode 2 and Charlotte’s Web.
