How to Make Amazing Light Stencils Photography

Our friends at Fstoppers posted an article today about the amazing photography art of Light Stenciling. Like many people, I was immediately blown away with what you can do with this technique.  A photographer’s version of stencil graffiti, light stenciling consists of making a box with a stenciled image etched on it and a speedlight to light up the stencil.

TigTab on DIY Photography has posted an excellent tutorial in how to make said stenciled lightbox out of a shoebox or a portable softbox.

 I think that this is definitely a cool new technique and I want to incorporate this into my work before everyone else catches on, haha!  How about you, have you tried this before?
