Hamsters take center stage in this still life photo series

By Anthony Thurston on June 15th 2013

In general images of rodents and food are never a good thing, unless you are a photographer wanting to take pictures of cute little animals that is. Russian photographer Elena Eremina has this very interesting series called “Still Life with Hamsters” in which she created these elaborate still life sets and then unleashes her pet hamsters on the set.

The images are very well done, and the hamsters are very cute. I am not much of a rodent person, but the image with the hamsters and sushi made me giggle out loud. A very creative series of photos to say the least.

You can check out a selection of the images below. You can also head on over to Elena Eremina’s 500px profile to check out the full set.
