Fuji Announcement | Two New Lenses, Updated Lens Roadmap, Firmware Updates

By Wendell Weithers on September 7th 2017

Every camera system faces the challenge of sating the rabid desire of their early adopters for new lenses. With photography being a highly specialized and fragmented market, each segment eagerly awaits the next press release as if it were the latest PowerBall numbers. Today, Fuji fulfilled the wishes of a multitude of macro shooters with the XF 80mm F2.8 lens and added a photography staple, a 35mm equivalent, in the GF 45 mm F2.8 R WR. Even as Fuji meets the needs of their faithful in the present, they do so with a glimpse of the vision for the future.
