Are You Ready For The Greatest Workshop of 2015? Here’s How You Can Attend For Free

By Hanssie on January 16th 2015

We are giving away ONE free class pass (valued at $1500) to three people for the Fstoppers‘ 2015 Workshops in the Bahamas!

SLR Lounge In The Bahamas

In photography, having a mentor is invaluable for growth. Personally, I am a tactile learner – don’t show me a camera manual, show me how to do it and then help me as I practice! That’s why I love hands on workshops and this is one you DO NOT want to miss.

We may be biased because our Editor-in-Chief and one of the partners from Lin and Jirsa photography will be teaching LIN AND JIRSA’S WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY 101 – THE ULTIMATE FOUNDATION, but we think this is one of the greatest workshops out there. Not only do you get to choose from some of the world’s greatest photographers in all different genres, but you get to do so in the Bahamas. Paradise on earth.

No big deal. I just photographed this beautiful couple in paradise....

This year is going to be even better since this is the second time SLR Lounge is doing this and have learned and improved from the first one.

Is there any clue about the date ?
But as Greg said, the winners still need to pay the travel + hotel, which might be just a little bit too expensive for most of us.

It looks like a fun time and a great learning experience.

I’d say it might be tempting if I already was planning to attend but whoever wins has to pay for flights/hotel which will most likely be around $1500.

It’s actually not that expensive. Tickets are usually $250-400 round trip up to 3 weeks before the flight, and they get discounts on the hotels so you may end up spending $800 total which is a steal. Atlantis raises prices every other year so $99 a night is insane, only employees and upper staff get rooms cheaper than that.

My wife won last year. The both of us went and it cost us about 5k for 5 days/4 nights. But was so worth the trip.
