Journey To A Far-Off Place – Surreal Photography With Kindra Nikole

By Lauren Kermelis on December 1st 2013

We all love to escape from reality every once in a while, whether it is being engulfed in a good book, or swept off to a far-away place in the cinema. There is something attractive about exploring the whimsical land of fantasy. Some live in the fantasy more than others, they see things through a different lens, a lens of colors and motion, fairies and creatures, places that could not exist beyond the limitations of one’s mind. Fantasy photographer, Kindra Nikole lives through a lens such as this, a mind filled with creativity to stretch beyond ones normal mental limitations.

Nikole began practicing photography late in 2011, her skills increased immensly when she decided to take on a 360 project a few months later. Her images are surreal and ethereal with a strong contrasting color presence, that carry you away into a land beyond the ordinary.

Kindra is not only a photographer, but a cosmetologist, wardrobe stylist, and photo editor as well. Her bubbly personality leads to great collaborative works with other creatives who all share in the field of surreal and conceptual photography.
