Escalator Madness: Crazy Hypnotic Art by Jiyen Lee

By Anthony Thurston on March 23rd 2013

Jiyen Lee is a Korean artist who creates and composes collages and photo-manipulations with steps and escalators viewed from above. Talk about some crazy images, I really love the hypnotic effect that they create. This is something that I would never have come up with myself had I not seen it here.

I may actually try my hand at something like this, though there are not a lot of stores in my area with a need for escalator. Oh Well. I do really enjoy coming across interesting and unique art like this, it really inspires me to try and think out of the box creatively.

For me it seeing and talking to other creative types. As a musician it is easy to compose and write music. Photography is creating some very different challenges for me.
